Super Eagleshead coach Sunday Olisehhas listed Seattle Sounders striker Obafemi Martinsfor a recall to the national team for the World Cup qualifier against Swazilandin November after a two-year absence.
According to reports by CompleteSports, the return of Martins, who has been scoring freely in the United States first-tier Major League Soccer is the highlight of the 24-man list Sunday Olisehsubmitted to the Nigeria Football Federation.
Also listed according to a decent NFF secretariat source are Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanachoand Hull City’s Sone Aluko as well as Hope Akpan, among other regular suspects like Carl Ikeme, Mikel Obi and Victor Moses.
