Lagosstate governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has referred to Babatunde Raji Fashola, the immediate past governor of the state and new Minister of Power, Works and Hosuing, as a link between the state and the Federal Government.
He said this will increase the pace t which the state will grow and develop in infrastructure and other aspects.
Ambode said this as he delivered a key note address during the alumni conference of the LagosBusiness School, yesterday 19th November,2015.
The Governor said the state is lucky to have Babatunde Raji Fashola(SAN) heading vital ministries at a important time in the state’s existence.
“We are privileged to have my predecessor in office at the center in charge of Works, Power and Housing. This effectively means we have a synergy between Lagosand the Federal Government to accelerate and actualize our current plans for infrastructural development,” Governor Ambode said.
He also added that his administration’s major priorities right now are security and traffic.
